GROW Hires Stephanie I. Bosco as new Assistant Director

GROW Licking County CIC announces that Ms. Stephanie I. Bosco will be joining the organization as its new Assistant Director starting February 3, 2020. In her new role, Ms. Bosco will be joining Executive Director Nathan A. Strum in leading the local economic development efforts in Licking County, Ohio.

 

“This addition to the staff of GROW Licking County CIC will make us much more effective in the execution of our county-wide economic development strategy,” expressed Dan McVey, Board Chairman for GROW Licking County CIC.  “Stephanie brings a skill set that will greatly complement our existing team but also serve our local partners and communities exceptionally well.”

 

As Assistant Director, Ms. Bosco will be collaborating on GROW Licking County CIC’s efforts to attract new employers to Licking County as well as efforts around retaining existing opportunities and creative workforce solutions with a goal of growing Licking County. 

 

“I’m looking forward to bringing my (almost) ten years of economic experience to further GROW’s mission as well as the local efforts to raise prosperity for all of the citizens living and working in Licking County,” stated Stephanie I. Bosco. “I am excited to expand my knowledge of the economic and business community as well as finding ways for companies to thrive in Licking County.”

 

Prior to joining GROW Licking County CIC, Ms. Bosco served as Project Management Specialist for One Columbus (formerly Columbus 2020), the regional economic development organization for Central Ohio.

Founded in 2012 as a public-private partnership, GROW Licking County CIC is a 501-c-3 that serves as the local economic development organization for all of Licking County, Ohio. Since its inception, GROW Licking County CIC has overseen private investment commitments of over $2.8B, the creation of nearly 6,000 jobs, and retention of over 2,000 existing job opportunities. In 2018, GROW Licking County CIC adopted its strategic vision, GROW LC 2025 which guides the efforts of the organization to attract & retain job opportunities as well as workforce development strategies. In 2019, GROW Licking County CIC spun out the its organization to become a standalone economic development agency.
